I recently come in contact with yugioh again(it has been a long time since I quit playing the card game).
He totally cant form a good workable deck so I decied to post this. I am not a pro but, well, I am a vetaran. So here goes.

Deck building(the basic):
Always try to build a 40 cards deck.
Think of a theme.(eg:dragon deck)
Think of a main combo.
Think of sub combos to support main combo.
Think of a sub combos if main combo does not work on your oppnent deck.


Deck building(content):
Your deck should contain the following to make a workable good deck.
20 monster
13/12 magic
7/8 trap
(may differ depend if u use more trap make sure magic and trap total must be 20)

Deck building(advance):
Do not add in too much have lvl monster (unless it is your combo that you can summon them out fast)2 is enough.
Do not add in ritual monster cos they take too much space.
Alway add 2 trap to counter magic
Alway add quick play magics becos they are good in a combo(cards that destroy magic, trap or monster are highly recomended)
Add trap card that destroy monster (at least 3 to 4 cards)
Add cards that can reborn monster
Add cards that allow u to draw more
Add at least one 4 star 1900 attack monster
Add magic cards that destory monster (best to have at least 1 that wipe out muti monster
in one go)
Add magic cards that can destroy or clean magic or trap on the field

Recomendation:
Add Jinzo as 1 of your high lvl monster
Add quick play magic typoon
Add magic jammer for counter magic

Conclusion:
If u follow my steps, u should get a good workable deck. Etiher ask your friend's deck to test your deck or just get someone to use your dummy deck to test.That should do. Like I say I am not a pro so depends on u to use my deck building method, that all.
